General Overview:
The Associate Director of Client Management must work independently and as part of a team, contributing to a dedicated global group working on the cusp of new technologies.
The Associate Director will have outstanding organization and management skills, and be bright, experienced and motivated to lead a client management team.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Work with the Director of Client Management to provide strategic direction to the client management department (all offices).
- Manage local Client Management teams with assistance and guidance from Director of Client Management including coaching, mentoring, retaining staff, and evaluating performance
- Scan local area for new business opportunities and participate in new and organic business presentations and demonstrations.
- Collaborate with local Interbrand and Omnicom offices on new and current projects
- Oversee a subset of clients and respective projects
- Work with the Director of Client Management to coach CM?s on how to deal with clients and how to think strategically
- Responsible for appropriate pricing and maintaining project budgets and escalating any client financial issues to the Dir. Of Client Services.
- Update regularly with CM team on the status of current projects
- Enforce adherence to CM practices and procedures
- Regular CM duties:
o Working as a member of a team on web-based software projects from conception through delivery
o Working directly with clients and our team to set clear objectives, which generate into specific tasks and parameters to complete your projects
o Designing and adhering to work plans, timelines and budget estimates
o Allocate and manage resources
o Lead the Needs Analysis phase and requirements gathering on projects
o Project performance and plans: managing the development life cycle including the project scope and client expectations
o Ensure testing and quality assurance of deliverables
o Active participation in all phases of a project
Your qualifications should include:
- Strong client and project management skills, including excellent client communication, budget tracking/management, basic accounting skills, timeline and milestone delivery skills
- Ability to write proposals, and related business documents to secure and deliver results for Fortune 500 clients
- Ability to analyze a client?s needs and requirements
- Experience with software development projects; actual hands-on software design and software construction experience on Microsoft platform is a plus.
- Detailed oriented, excellent follow through, able to multi-task
- Ability to develop presentations and participate in delivery of the presentation
- Experience in corporate branding is a plus
Skills & Competencies:
- Bachelor?s Degree or higher
- Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint, Word and Excel, and Microsoft Project
- People Management
- Familiarity with IT operations/environment
- Some knowledge of the Microsoft .NET platform and development tools
