MEDICAL BILLING AND COLLECTIONS - Compensation: COMPETITIVE SALARY in New York, Iowa

1)Billing all insurances, and secondaries, coding and billing all superbills for electronic billing purposes.
Perform Collection Duty.
2) Making payment arrangements as needed;
3) Review explanation of benefit correspondence, investigate denials, and respond to requests for further claim information and contact insurance companies if incorrect payment is received on a claim.
4) Collects delinquent accounts by establishing payment arrangements with patients; monitoring payments; following up with patients when payment lapses occur.
5) Secures obstetrical payments by interviewing and obtaining information from patients; establishing payments due prior to services; sending monthly statements.
6) The ideal candidate is result-driven with a proven track record with evidence of collection proficiency.
7) Must have Knowledge of Out of Network Anesthesia collections.
